With the release of the N'Zoth illusion, players who have pre-purchased World of Warcraft: Shadow Continent will be able to create Pandaren and Allied race death knights, including newly-available werewolves and mechanical gnomes.

Tip: Players who want to create an Alliance Race Death Knight need to meet the requirements to unlock the character. Hover your mouse over the desired race icon on the character creation screen to find the requirements to unlock the Alliance race. The Pandaren Death Knight has no restrictions and can be created immediately.

Pandaren and Alliance Race Death Knights have new starting experience and stand out among supporters of Lich King Bolivar in Icecrown. After completing introductory missions with Bolvar, they will begin their journey as heroes of Azeroth and join forces with the Horde or Alliance. The death knights of the previously available race will continue to start a new life in Hechery Acherus as a summoned servant of the Lich King Arthas. All new Death Knight characters will receive the iconic Acherus Deathcharger mount after completing the introductory mission, and the Alliance Race Death Knight will also receive their race mount (Panda Race Mount will still need to be purchased from the vendor).
