I've been having a hard time over the past two weeks with not knowing which class to choose as my primary 6. I finally found my six and thought it could be helpful to other players to do a personal review of some of my mains/alternates.

Main- RE Main- RE

I am in love with this class it has a extremely high APM (need superchange 3) so lots of button mashing. However, it does not make you think "i need to master my rotations" Every ability has a purpose or function for the context you're in. high uptime.

In all honesty, i would not advise it as an alternative because of how well-equipped you must be to provide decent DPS. So if you decide to DB as an alternative, go for surge, the only issue is that you are bound to a particular style of play or rotation, and your primary DPS being from surge (identity ability) and if you fail to do this, it, you'll be losing a lot of DPS that will go to waste.

FUN 9/10

Alt- tai scrapper

If i don't use the RE DB, this is what I'll be using. I've played with builds, but ended up end up having Tai because of rapid actions, high APM and not having to glance at your ID bar.

it's powerful, lots of mobility, you're not locked in animation , and a fluid gameplay.

Great character to use as an alt since you don't require much DPS (due to buffs recently added) However, this class is as enjoyable to play, but if you're a massive numbers person, then go with huge numbers of shock.

Alt-control Glaivier

As with many people, at the time this class was released, I jumped onto the hype train that resulted in me going to LM however im glad I did as it was very enjoyable. I've played with both builds, but was able to get control because of three reasons.

1.Pinnacle requires shifting stances which for me reduced the fluidity of your character. The blue and red abilities are totally different.

2. I can't get my red horn ability (requires the bar to check your skill when trying to aim)

3,Cannot change red skills in a desired key.

So with a little control, all three issues i faced were eliminated. Super fluid and high APM. In addition, thanks to the control engraving, you will receive good 36% dmg bump. Therefore, there is no reason to upgrade her gear that much.

FUN - 7.5-10

Other alts I have include destoryer, zerk, and shadow hunter. I'll edit them to write an overview of these if i'm bored.

TLDR:

RE Blade - don't recommend as a replacement (requires an enormous amount of gearing) but if want to play, go for it.

Tai Scrapper - quick, fluid and has a high APM (requires very little gearing) an excellent alternative.

Control Glaivier - quick and fluid, with high APM (requires no gearing, but it is a must for Control 3) Good alternative.
