The Fire Cape is one of the most sought-after items within old-school RuneScape. In order to obtain this prized cape, players need to take on the legendary boss, known as Jad. Before you embark on this challenge, be sure you have gathered all of your OSRS Gold to hit the thresholds required to take on the incoming waves of enemies.

Aiming for the Fight Caves

Jad and the sea of enemies are waiting to be defeated at the Fight Caves in TzHaar. The area you have to get to is located situated in Karamja which you can reach through the use of the recharged Amulet of Glory. From there, you can use it to travel to the location you need. When you are in this area and turn left, you will be able to go to locate an active volcano. Then, you'll find an upward-facing rope which is why you must follow it until you reach the bottom of the volcano. When you have found the cave's entry point, go west until you get to the bank, which acts to serve as the Fight Caves' entry point.

Items such as Stats, Equipment, and Equipment

It is important to prepare well prior to going towards The Fight Caves. You must ensure that you are at least 70 ranged and at minimum 45 Prayer and Defense prior to attempting this task. As you're in the upper levels of Ranging for this quest, make sure you have at minimum 2 Ranging Potions. Additionally, I suggest that you pack about 20 super-restored potions. Saradomin brews as well as Purple Sweets are also useful.

The equipment you carry with you is contingent on the level that your character has attained. The most efficient method is to choose the most effective possible shield that can meet what your defense level is at. As I mentioned before that you must carry at least an Amulet of Glory. If you are looking to improve your Ranged ability even more I would suggest an Amulet of Range. You can also increase your range by wearing armor for Ranging when it's available.

We have previously discussed the importance of knowing what your prayer level is. You can earn Prayer bonuses by using Dragonhide, particularly through Blessed Dragon Hide. It's because it gives the Prayer bonus, which can make the loss of Prayer points diminish. The weapon that you choose to use should be a Rune Crossbow. It is a weapon that when combined together with Diamond or Ruby Bolt can be very powerful.

Jada's Battle Against Jad

After you've battled your way through a variety of waves of foes, you'll get the chance to battle Jad. Jad is a deadly combination of Magic and Ranged attacks that can turn out devastating if you don't take your time. There are, however, some clues to be aware of to avoid taking the full impact of such attacks. Pay attention to a loud crash because this is a sign of the fact that Jad may be about to launch an attack that is a Ranged attack. If you hear an unsteady sound, then Jad is planning an attack that is a Magic attack.

There are visual clues to be aware of. If he is leaning back on his feet to the side, Jad is about to employ the technique of a Ranged attack. You must modify your defensive strategies to accommodate. In the case of Magic, Jad will lean his head inwards before shooting massive fireballs at you. Similar to Ranged it is recommended to change your mode to shield yourself from Magic. However, Jad has healers helping him out. Make adjustments to your strategies including taking out his healers. This is done by encircling them behind you so that they're focused on you as a player, not Jad himself. Keep in mind your overall health and make use of your potions as necessary. This way you'll be able to get Jad down quickly!

The Fire Cape

The Fire Cape is itself an item for melee combat that you can get when you defeat Jad as well as Jad and the Fight Caves. You can give it away to TzHaar-Ket'Keh in order to gain access to Inferno should you decide to. It is also possible to hang it on the Cape Hanger in your player's home's Achievement Gallery. If you prefer to sell your cape you could do that through TzHaar Mej-Jal. The player will have the option of either an item from the Jad pet or the 8000 Tokkul. Note: If you choose to sell the cape, then you'll be required to defeat Jad once more to earn another cape.
